Hingham Little League wraps its season with All Star Family Fun Day at Carlson Field.
HINGHAM -- Hingham Little League capped its 2026 season with its fifth annual All Star Family Fun Day on Saturday, June 13, at Carlson Field, featuring a full day of games, skills competitions, and ceremonies for players and families across all divisions.
YOUTH LEAGUES
The event included AA, AAA, and Majors All Star games, a Wiffle Ball Classic, Tee Ball and Farm League end-of-season games, a D1 Softball Relay Rally, and a Softball D2 All Star game. Skills championships were held for AA, AAA, and Majors divisions, with the Majors competition including throwing, running, and a Home Run Derby. A scholarship recipient ceremony and the announcement of Hingham's Williamsport representative were also part of the day's schedule, followed by a 12-Year Old Clap Out. Food trucks, merchandise, and free carnival games rounded out the celebration.
HLL also ran an All Star Family Fun Day raffle for the second consecutive year, with prizes including custom gloves, bats, and cleats. Raffle proceeds support uniforms, equipment, and field maintenance.
The league's scoreboard listed several travel games during the week, with Hingham teams scheduled to face opponents including West Bridgewater, Hanover, Milton National, Scituate, Whitman-Hanson, and Abington across baseball and softball divisions.
TOWN
The Hingham Recreation Department noted that both the Open Rec Gameroom and basketball gym are closed to the public for the summer. The Striders Fitness Room remains open on its regular schedule. Registration for the Fourth of July Road Race is open at hinghamrec.com.
