Sheila Murphy, 88, of Abington, Massachusetts, died on June 21, 2026. She was the wife of Francis Murphy and is survived by her children Francis Murphy (Eileen) of Taunton, James Murphy (Deborah) of Whitman, and Mary Diver (Ronnie) of Abington; and by her grandchildren Matthew Diver (Amanda), Emily Murphy, Brian Diver, John Murphy, Laura Murphy, David Murphy, Caitlin Diver, and Thomas Murphy. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Celia, and by her siblings Elizabeth Doherty, Mary O'Leary, and Michael Gibbons. Visitation was held Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday, June 26, 2026 beginning at 9:30 AM at Sullivan Funeral Homes, 45 E Water St, Rockland, MA 02370. A funeral Mass was held Friday, June 26, 2026 at 10:30 AM at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 455 Plymouth St, Abington, MA 02351, followed by committal and burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
